The first few lines of this song brought tears to my eyes...the rest of the song brought confirmation that God is always in control, They cannot lock up our souls...or the freedom we have in Christ. My son told others that they are blessed to be where they are right now....for many don't have three meals, a bed, clothes, shelter from the elements...I thank God for the keeping of my son's soul and his spirit.
The first time I heard it was the Sunday after we got back home with Amanda. We had no idea what was next. We still don't, but we do know that God is faithful, that he has a purpose and that he loves her and us immensely. This song confirmed that it will be okay. I shall continue to pray for him as I pray for her.
I know that He is in charge of the situation...of that I am sure. I am not sure how he and we would deal if that was not the case...He can open the cell, He can calm the storm but sometimes the jewel at the end is made stronger through the process.
