Sorry folks
Sorry folks, I was not trying to start a new religion. I simply view the amount of emotion and energy that I and others place on stuff of limited consequence and took a mental train for a moment. I believe in a true Heaven based on the Bible and on grace - how else could we even get there. Did not mean to offend anyone. Be blessed.

We far too often build where God was, and too seldom build where he is. The day we cannot examine our religion is the day our religion becomes another hidebound superstition. It is written that God enjoys hiding things in his words, and the tzadics, the righteous ones, delight in finding them. Long cherished errors of mine have crumbled when the light of God is shown in them. My religion now is not the same religion I had as a child.

ReplyDeletewhen I reread it a second time I remembered what a friend had said. I don't agree with his answer...he seems to think that the fire is a metaphor for pain....I believe in real fire...I do not want to go there! I hope you didn't think I was offended because I had not answered...
